Day of Thanksgiving

It has been 23 days since I have last written in my blog. I have been out of sorts on what to really say. I have been asking God how I should speak to you his people and instead of forcing something I stayed silent. I allowed God to personally speak to me and give me what he wanted me to say to his people. He had me absent from my audience with the risk of losing the following that I have taken on but knowing that God has the final say on what happens with his messengers. God has allowed me time and given me a word to speak to you on this Thanksgiving evening. He has wanted me to let his people know that there are so many things that we have to be thankful for this year. Even though things may not have seemed like they were going towards our best interest God still had and has a plan for each and everyone of us.

This year has been different in so many different ways than years in the past. The world has experienced a global pandemic, people have lost loved ones to this sickness, and people have lost their jobs and their simple way of life. Through all of this God has given us something to be especially thankful for. If you are reading this then you have endured. You have made through all of these different trails and tribulations of this year and you are still pushing to the end. Yes, the world has been in somewhat of turmoil but you can stand tall and say that you are making it day by day with the grace of God. Yes, you may have lost your job or a loved one but your life has been spared. The job that you lost may have opened a door that you would not have otherwise sought after if it wasn’t for the pandemic. I have met many people who have been able to finish schools and get additional credentials because of the extra time that they have had on their hands.

Most importantly during this time of turmoil our faith has increased. If you are alive still to read this you have gotten a deeper relationship in God. Like I mentioned earlier God has shown us how to endure. He has retaught us that we must trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understand. That in all our ways we must acknowledge our father and he will direct our path. It is amazing how much our lives have changed but God has been with us every step of the way.

My brothers and sisters as you read this I pray that you continue to Trust God from this point on. That you allow God to use you in away that you have never been used before. God has plans for you that is why he has spared your life thus far. Walk in those plans that God has placed at your feet. Continue to endure through the trails and tribulations that you are faced with everyday. God loves you and so do I.

Yours in Christ,
